Netimperative goes into receivership

The future's not looking too rosy...

NEWS Online IT news service netimperative.com confirmed today it has gone into receivership. The site's holding company, Heltward, went under on 8 March, leaving netimperative's managers looking for ways to keep the service going. Financial crises have plagued the site before - it first encountered difficulties back in May 2000. No new articles have been published on the site since Friday, but readers are still able to access its archived material. The receivers, Harrisons in Manchester, were not available to comment at the time of publication, but have said they are interested in any expressions of interest on behalf of netimperative. A posting on netimperative.com says: "Heltward Ltd operators of netimperative.com were placed into receivership on Friday March 8th. The management of the company are currently exploring a number of options in order to continue to operate the service, however, expressions of interest would be welcomed by the receivers, Harrisons in Manchester." Netimperative has a total of nine employees.
