NEWS National Grid, the parent company of Energis, will have to write off £350m because of the collapse of the ailing telco's share price. National Grid is expected to make a statement to that effect in the next couple of weeks, according to the Sunday Telegraph. Shares in Energis were trading at just over 3p this morning, valuing the company at around the £40m mark. At its height, it was worth £12bn.
