Oxford puts 130 million words online

That's a whole lot of reading...

NEWS Oxford University Press (OUP) is putting hundreds of its language and reference books online. The site (http://www.oxfordreference.com ) is expected to contain well in excess of 130 million words within 10 years and has been developed in conjunction with OUP Oxford and OUP New York. The first part of the project, The Core Collection, went live today, containing 1.5 million entries collated from dictionaries and reference books. It offers a vast knowledge resource of facts and figures, names, places and words across 20 subject areas ranging from art to zoology.
