Logical seals £14m broadband deal with Welsh Assembly

We'll keep the broadband in the hillsides...

NEWS The Welsh Assembly is investing £14m into the country's broadband infrastructure. Professional services and IT network integration company Logical has won the contract to roll out the high-speed network throughout the Principality. The deal will lead to the creation of a country-wide broadband network linking all 22 Local Education Authorities in Wales and eight University sites. The network part of National Assembly's Lifelong Learning initiative, linking educational establishments and libraries. The contract includes all hardware, bandwidth for three years, as well as professional services and maintenance. Logical will also provide a bespoke managed service solution for the network.
