Former exec sues Microsoft

And sets eyes on licensing deal...

NEWS A company headed-up by a former Microsoft executive has said it will sue the software company for allegedly infringing upon a patent for ecommerce technologies. Network Commerce makes ecommerce tools and is claiming its patent covers a technology found in Microsoft software including Windows and Windows Media Technology. The trial will kick-off in September, according to a US news wire. However, Dwayne Walker, one time Microsoft employee and now CEO Network Commerce is hopeful the company will reach a resolution in the form of a licensing deal.
