NEWS Everton fans accustomed to spending the closing weeks of the season worrying about the threat of relegation may be pleased to hear their website at least is outperforming all their rivals.
The Toffees' website enjoyed an impressive average download time of 2.5 seconds last month in silicon.com's regular round-up of the performance of Premiership websites, as measured by Keynote.
And Everton aren't the only unfashionable club who find themselves in 'nose-bleed' territory. Tractor Boys Ipswich are once again up the top end of the table - a welcome break from their relegation form on the pitch - with an average of 2.74 seconds.
Premiership leaders Arsenal are suffering a similar reversal of fortune, occupying mid-table mediocrity in 11th - just one place above Manchester United who can only manage a poor 7.33 seconds - perhaps Sir Alex Ferguson should lend Keynote his own rather idiosyncratic watch.
So with the Premiership's big spenders out of the way, the top of the table looks like a minnows and strugglers convention. Southampton, West Ham, Sunderland, Tottenham and Derby join their rivals Everton and Ipswich in the top ten.
However, some teams seem intent on mirroring their poor performance on the pitch with pitiful displays online. Leicester, Bolton and Blackburn are all down in the dog-fight, staring virtual relegation in the face. However, the Villains (geddit?) of the piece, and winners of the wooden spoon for the month of March are Graham Taylor's Aston Villa with a pitiful 9.57 seconds.
Will he not like that!
The full table looks a lot like this:
1. Everton (2.5 seconds)
2. Ipswich (2.74)
3. Dirty Leeds (3.34)
4. Southampton (3.41)
5. West Ham (3.96)
6. Sunderland (4)
7. Newcastle (4.6)
8. Tottenham (5.33)
9. Derby (6.07)
10. Chelsea (6.47)
11. Arsenal (7.17)
12. Manchester United (7.33)
13. Fulham (8.48)
14. Middlesbrough (8.89)
15. Leicester (9.24)
16. Bolton (9.27)
17. Blackburn (9.3)
18. Aston Villa (9.57)
*For a second month, no data was available for Charlton or Liverpool.
