NEWS Outages at eBay.com that began on Sunday continued throughout yesterday although the company has not issued details of the technical problem. On Sunday the company's jewellery auction section suffered a nine-hour outage. Visitors were unable to view or bid on items in the category. While the company has issued an apology to visitors, a number of customers yesterday complained to a US newswire that their auctions had again failed to appear on the site. The company added in a statement it will be keeping affected customers updated via email.
