Hynix breathes a sigh of relief

Shout it from the rooftops: "Profit at last"...

NEWS South Korean chipmaker Hynix has reported profits for the first time in two years. The company posted net earnings of £18.9m during its last quarter ending 30 March, compared with a £28.1m loss in the same period a year ago. Last month it emerged the company is in serious debt and is still reported to be in talks to sell its memory chip division to US chipmaker Micron.
