Losses narrowing

NEWS Online pharmacy Drugstore.com has narrowed first quarter losses in comparison with the same period last year. The US-based company announced a net loss of $14.6m, or 22 cents per share, compared to losses of $41.7m, or 64 cents per share, in the first quarter of 2001. Sales are expected to increase to $46m during the second quarter from $43.9m in the first.
