NEWS Sony and RealNetworks have extended their long-standing partnership to take on the home networking market. Sony already distributes RealNetworks software in its laptops and desktops and will extend this to include home networked devices such as set-top boxes. Sony has also announced it will buy a one per cent stake in RealNetworks.
