CA investigation digs deeper

SEC closes in...

NEWS The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has broadened its accounting investigation into Computer Associates (CA). CA yesterday revealed that the SEC will now ask third parties about their dealings with the software company. CA also announced that the SEC has now turned its review into a formal investigation, an indication that the agency is considering enforcement action, reports the Financial Times. The company is suspected of overstating revenues.
