Manchester United scores with Terra Lycos

Fans around the world to find out just how few trophies they've won this year...

NEWS Manchester United has signed a four-year deal with Terra Lycos to develop online communities for its legions of non-English speaking fans. Terra Lycos has around 115 million users per month, and operates in 43 countries. David Gill, managing director of Manchester United, said in a statement: "We want to build online communities for our fans so they can interact with us and with each other in their own languages." Terra Lycos will also become a 'Platinum Sponsor' of the club, while Lycos US will be the exclusive online partner for the recently announced Manchester United US Tour in 2003.
