NEWS Name your own price travel site Priceline.com has bought the online assets of its budget break rival Lowestfare.com. Priceline snapped up the discount travel store's domain names and trademarks and said it has already begun selling airline tickets, accommodation and rental cars through the site. Priceline is using its own pricing model which allows buyers to bid any price for an item on Lowestfare.com. Lowestfare.com was part of TWA Airlines but was pushed out of the fold when American Airlines purchased TWA's assets last year when the company went bankrupt. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.
