NEWS Spanish internet service provider Terra Lycos is on the verge of launching its own online music subscription service. The company has partnered with Listen.com to create Lycos Rhapsody, which will offer access to 10,000 albums. But users will not be able to download the music onto CDs. The division will offer music from four major record labels - Bertlesmann, EMI, Sony and Warner Music. It is also in talks with Universal Music. In addition, negotiations are underway to reach an agreement to provide CD burning capabilities later in the year.
