NEWS Irish wireless software company MobileAware has secured E7m (£4.5m) in funding to help it towards profitability. Existing shareholders Cross Atlantic Capital Partners and Intel Capital have reinvested while AIB Equity and Bank of America Capital Partners are newcomers. Ted McCaffrey, chief investment officer at Bank of America, said the company had been wooed by analysts' predictions for rapid growth in the middleware market over the next three years. The decision to choose the Irish company was a result of MobileAware's track record in international sales and marketing strategy.
