Hackers triumph over Ford in legal row

IMPORTANT: Do not read if strong language offends...and we're talking the 'f' word here folks...

NEWS US motor car manufacturer Ford has lost a legal battle with a hacker group called 2600. In a mischievous moment the organisation which produces an eponymous magazine for the hacker community registered the domain www.fuckgeneralmotors.com and directed visitors to the General Motors website. However the potty-mouthed pranksters' line in schoolboy humour was wasted on the folks at Ford. The US giant swiftly took the matter to court only to have a judge yesterday throw it out. The hacker group is now applying for Ford to pay its legal costs, according to a report in the Guardian.
