NEWS UKBetting is buying rival gambling site SGC Enterprises in a deal worth £670,000. UKBetting is paying £570,000 to cover SGC's outstanding debts and a further £100,000 for the entire betting operation, including its 24,000 customers. The majority of bets with SGC were placed on football and other sports, complementing UKBetting's own offering and bringing its total number of customers to more than 100,000. By Brianne Llewellyn
