Euro tech stocks hold steady

Despite Nasdaq woes...

NEWS European tech stocks were this morning holding steady after US counterparts dipped into the red overnight. The Nasdaq Composite closed down three per cent overnight, weighed down by ongoing accountancy concerns in corporate America. While the FTSE 100 was trading flat at 09:20 (BST) its younger cousin, the FTSE TechMark 100 was off slightly by 0.14 per cent. The UK technology sector failed to show any vigour during early morning activity. While shares in mm02 were trading into the green by 0.40 per cent FTSE heavyweight, Vodafone lost two per cent to sit at 93.25 pence. Recently departed FTSE 100 player, ARM was also trading down slightly at 0.70 per cent.
