NEWS Gerald Ratner's first online foray has taken a minor setback following a domain name dispute with his former company. Signet wanted to stop the controversial jewellery magnate using www.ratnersonline.com because it claimed it owned the Ratners name and feared 'market confusion' if a competitor was had the rights to it. A court agreed, forcing Mr Ratner to rename his online jewellery site - a joint venture with retailer Goldsmiths - GeraldOnline. The venture plans to sell a range of jewellery priced between £40 and £300
