NEWS Lastminute.com has announced it is to buy European rival Travelprice.com in a £31.9m all-stock deal. Lastminute is to issue as many as 34.6 million new shares to Travelprice shareholders to complete the deal. Travelprice sells flights and holidays to consumers across much of mainland Europe and marks the latest in a string of acquisitions for the one-time darling of the UK dot-com scene.
