NEWS Chip maker Texas Instruments has made a profit in its second quarter, buoyed by strong sales of analogue chips and digital signal processors. The Dallas-based outfit made $95m for the three month period, compared with a $197m loss in the same quarter a year ago. Revenue rose six per cent to $2.16bn.
