Rugby World Cup in online ticket scam scandal

Don't buy any tickets online. Because they're definitely forgeries...

NEWS Rugby Union fans around the world should avoid the temptation to get in early and buy tickets for next year's World Cup over the web - because the Australian organisers haven't released them yet. This hasn't stopped some opportunists from selling forged tickets online. John Aquilina, the fair trading minister for New South Wales, is quoted by Ananova as saying: "If anyone's contemplating buying tickets for next year's World Cup - don't. The tickets have not yet been released, any tickets you purchase now are bound to be forgeries." The Australian Rugby Union association will officially launch the World Cup ticket programme shortly. It advises fans to only buy from authorised vendors.
