NEWS Internet search giant Google has launched a service which enables surfers to find news stories on selected subjects from a wide range of English language sources worldwide. From the New York Times to some of the smallest UK local newspapers, Google users will be able to search a vast array of news sources covering specific areas such as business news, health, sport and world news. Launched today, the service is linked to from the Google.com front page, appearing as a tab on the menu bar. Google is currently offering the service for free with no advertising. It will take a decision on how to make money from the service once it has determined the level of demand, according to Reuters.
