NEWS David Myers, the former controller of WorldCom, has become the first employee of the bankrupt firm to plead guilty to fraud in the ongoing investigation into the company's multi-billion dollar accountancy scandal. Myers broke rank with WorldCom's former CFO Scott Sullivan, who last month pleaded not guilty to fraud charges. WorldCom became the largest ever insolvency in the history of corporate America when it filed for bankruptcy in July (see: http://www.silicon.com/a54699 for more).
