NEWS This month West Ham United have blown away all-comers to claim top spot in silicon.com's league table of Premiership websites.
The happy Hammers who are having more joy online than on grass this season took top spot for September with their website available in just 0.75 seconds on average.
The early season leaders Newcastle, who topped the table last month with an average time for the month of 0.80 seconds, have slipped back into fourth place with a slightly more pedestrian 1.91 seconds, as measured by web monitoring firm Keynote.
Once again it is the so-called 'unfashionable' teams all vying for the top places. Charlton (1.22 secs) and last season's overall winners Everton (1.75 secs) are second and third respectively behind the Irons from the East End.
Further down the table, the big three are failing to pull up any trees early doors. Liverpool (2.67 secs) are in ninth, Arsenal (3.95 secs) are in twelfth and Manchester United (4.56 secs) are languishing in thirteenth.
The worst performing website last month was Blackburn which took an almost unforgivable 13.90 seconds to access on average.
In terms of availability no club enjoyed a perfect month - though again it was West Ham making all the running.
The Hammers enjoyed up-time throughout September of 99.83 per cent. The top of the availability table looks like a who's who of London clubs with Fulham tied in top spot and Tottenham (99.75 per cent) and Chelsea (99.58 per cent) in third and fourth place. Only Charlton (95.21) and Arsenal (93.4 per cent) let the capital down - occupying the relegation places in eighteenth and nineteenth.
