NEWS Online bank Egg has announced a narrowing of third quarter losses after it managed to attract 107,000 new customers. Losses came in at £3.9m - down dramatically from a loss of £81.8m for the comparable period last year. The third quarter gain in customers takes Egg's total number of customers to 2.4 million. Earlier this year Egg sealed a deal with billionaire Bernard Arnault to buy French business ZeBank. The deal with ZeBank saw the pioneering UK firm gain an instant boost in customer numbers.
