Friends Reunited: "Bigger than God"

And the TUC can forget about it...

NEWS The phenomenal success of internet contact site Friends Reunited has seen it become one of the biggest organisations in the UK with more than eight million signed-up members. The site, which puts old school and university friends in touch with one another, has even surpassed the TUC and church in terms of popularity in the UK. The TUC has 6.7 million members while around 4.5 million people are believed to attend church regularly. Friends Reunited has been running for a little over two years, with an average of around 250,000 new members signing up each month, largely on the back of word-of-mouth recommendations and viral marketing.
