NEWS Relative newcomers to silicon.com will hopefully notice the addition of some new functionality on the site and users who've been with us for some time will be welcoming back an old friend. The new-look silicon.com includes the return of the Reader Comments function which will enable you to post your reaction to every story you read and share comments with fellow readers. So if you read something you disagree with or want to comment on you can now do so at the press of a button. Around the site and at the bottom of every story you will see a green speech bubble icon. This shows where you can post your Reader Comments and will also take you through to where you can read what your peers are saying. A selection of the most recent comments will also appear on the front page. The reason for the return of Reader Comments is two-fold. Firstly, we wanted it back as your feedback has always been vital to us on the editorial team. This is something we have fought for ever since the functionality was removed with the last relaunch. Secondly, and most importantly, you wanted it back. Ever since it disappeared in January we have received countless emails from users asking for it to be reinstated. So it's back. Make sure you use it.
