NEWS Tennis fans can now watch replays of Wimbledon matches and other video content at the Wimbledon Championships website.
The Wimbledon Plus service provides edited matches, daily previews and highlights and live audio commentary as well as 'behind the scenes' coverage such as player interviews and profiles.
The cost is £5 for a subscription that will last until the end of April 2005, although existing BT Broadband customers can view the content for free.
The video is provided via a deal between the All England Lawn Tennis Club, the Wimbledon organiser, and BT Rich Media. BT will provide the technology for publishing and distributing all video on the site.
The Wimbledon site also now offers access to the Club's entire video library, including classic matches, documentaries and official films, on a pay-per-view basis of 50p for each clip.
