NEWS 30.07.99: The BBC has made two board-level appointments within its Worldwide division, which demonstrate the organisation's increasing dedication to new media services. Drew Kaza, former boss of broadcast and interactive company Mediaplex, has become managing director, Internet & Interactive. His role will involve developing interactive, ecommerce and customer response services for brands such as beeb.com, beeb.net, Audiocall, Two Way TV and future video-on-demand channels. 30.07.04: The issue of the BBC's online offering sparked fresh controversy recently on the pages of silicon.com.
