NEWS The University of Bradford has opened its doors to the next generation of wireless masters with the launch of the UK's first Masters degree in wireless sensor networks.
The degree course will start this September and will cover sensor software technology, sensor networking as well as protocols and security for the wireless networks, University of Bradford Professor Fun Hu said.
She added the course had been created in response to the speed of development in the arena of wireless sensor networks, which will create a demand for chartered engineers in the field.
Eight £3,000 bursaries to cover tuition fees will be available from the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council.
