NEWS Dr. Solomon's has announced a new desktop anti-virus line, VirusScan 4.0. The recent merger with Network Associates means the virus package will incorporate Network Associates' user interface with the Dr. Solomon's virus-finder. The desktop element will form part of a Dr. Solomon's Total Virus Defence (TVD) package, which includes products for file and groupware servers and Internet gateways. Much of the development work for TVD will be done at Network Associates' laboratory in Aylesbury, UK. VirusScan 4.0 will be available from October.
