NEWS Company-wide data encryption became more widely available yesterday when London based security vendor, Reflex Magnetics was granted an export licence. The UK government will allow the company to ship its Data Vault 128bit security package to America, Australia, Canada, the Czech Republic, South Africa and most of Western Europe. Andy Campbell, MD of Reflex, said the licence would put an end to the lengthy process of individual countries applying for export licences, which he claimed can take up to four months.
