Hackers deface Nasdaq-Amex site

NEWS The Nasdaq and American Stock Exchange Web site was reportedly hacked yesterday by a group calling itself the United Loan Gunmen. The group defaced the home page and claims to have set-up a temporary email address on the site - indicating a deep level of penetration. The systems breach, which occurred just after midnight, is the latest in a wave of attacks targeting high-profile Web sites in recent weeks. Nasdaq would not confirm or deny the attack took place for security reasons.
