By Polly Raymond, 15 November 1999 16:22

NEWS Security company Network Associates has issued a warning about a virus called Funlove.4099 that it found in some of its UK research labs. The virus, which was first identified on Friday in Network Associates' Aylesbury labs, spreads by adding a file called flcss.exe into the system folder in systems running Windows 95, 98 and NT. When executed, the virus launches a message saying "Fun Loving Criminals" and tries to shut down the computer. Funlove.4099 is spread as an email attachment.
