Oracle unveils ebusiness backup software

NEWS Oracle has released Oracle Parallel Fail Safe for recovering ebusiness Web sites running on HP servers. Transparent failover and system recovery have been added to the database configuration to minimise downtime. HP's ServiceGuard OPS Edition runs a
rapid recovery service and reconnection in the event that one node fails. Janice Chaffin, vice president and general manager of HP's Business Critical Computing Unit, claimed it is the first Internet database with automatic failover.
