NEWS Two 18-year-olds who were arrested for hacking into nine banking sites had access to Bill Gates' credit card details, according to reports in Sunday papers. The hackers broke into the sites and posted 26,000 credit card details on the Web. The FBI said losses resulting from the hacks could exceed $3m. The pair were arrested at their homes in Clynderwen, Wales, on Friday after a joint operation involving the FBI, the Canadian Mounties and the Welsh Police. Both men have been released on bail. One of the alleged hackers, Raphael Gray, told UK newspaper, the Sunday Telegraph, he just wanted to prove how insecure the companies' Web sites were, and had been ignored when he had tried to alert the banks through conventional channels.
