NEWS Baltimore Technologies has announced second quarter (Q2) revenues up 221 per cent on the previous quarter to £16.3m. The growth was particularly strong in the US, which constituted 26 per cent of the overall revenue. Speaking to silicon.com, Robert Legge, director of business development for EMEA at Baltimore, said: "The result is a combination of many things. The acquisition of ecommerce specialist CyberTrust has helped us to develop our business in US. Organic growth together with the number of direct clients and other key partnerships has been our stronghold." Baltimore also announced its agreement with Commerce One, the ecommerce systems specialist today. Commerce One will be using Baltimore UniCERT, the digital certificate management system in its MarketSite, an ecommerce portal.
