Baltimore announces Q3 results

Baltimore Technologies has today announced its third quarter (Q3) revenues to be up 215 per cent on the previous quarter to £20.1m.

NEWS The growth was accelerated by strategic acquisitions of Content Technologies and Nevex Software Technologies, according to the company. But losses more than doubled to £18.4m for the quarter ended 30 September. Speaking to silicon.com, Paddy Holahan, executive vice president of marketing at Baltimore, said: "The successful result is a combination of many things. Organic growth, including the US, together with the number of direct clients and other key partnerships, has been our stronghold." Baltimore also announced an agreement with ecommerce payments vendor First Data to develop digital certificates on smartcards for card issuers.
