Anti-virus sites aren't looking for an apology

A virus called Apology is blocking access to top anti-virus sites, according to anti-virus vendor Sophos.

NEWS The virus appears as an email attachment with a long list of file names such as "Playboy screen saver" or "Is Linux better than Unix". Once executed via email attachment, the virus, also known as MTX stops victims from sending an email alert to anti-virus companies. The apology has been a number one on Sophos' November virus chart, which tracks down various malware around the globe. However, it has not been reported to cause any major damage in corporations yet.
