Euro e-security market to top $4bn by 2004

NEWS The report values e-security currently at $1.5bn, but foresees it being one the fastest growing segments in the IT services arena over the next four years. Sandra Edler, research analyst at IDC, said in the report: "Security players that understand the forces shaping the security services market in Europe and respond accordingly will gain the most." The report also predicts that current market leaders will retain their position after the media hype surrounding e-security dies down.
