NEWS US workers were tempted into opening the malicious email file entitled 'NAKEDWIFE', accidentally unleashing a Trojan which deletes crucial initialisation, execution, picture and resource files. The .vbs (visual basic script) programme is hidden in an email entitled FW: NakedWife, with a message which reads: "My Wife never looked like that :), Best Regards." The worm also emails itself to every email address in the affected user's address book. According to anti-virus vendor Trend Micro, a number of US companies were infected early on Tuesday morning, including a telecommunications firm and a government agency. Network Associates reported that at least 25 of its customers have received copies of the infected email. So far there have been no reported infections in the UK.
