CyberSafe partners Network Ice for advanced IDS

NEWS CentraxICE alerts on any internal intrusion by monitoring the host and any external attacks to the network through a single interface. It works across multiple platforms such as desktop, PDA and wireless. The product uses protocol analysis techniques instead of comparing packets to a database of existing signatures. The vendors claim that the packet dropping problem, often the shortcoming of IDS, is minimised with CentraxICE because the software supports fast network traffic. CentraxICE was originally brought together by Articon-Integralis, an IT reseller group who will be distributing the software.
