Anti virus protection for myWasp

MyWasp gets intensive care from Trend Micro...

NEWS Network security company Trend Micro has teamed up with wireless Application Service Provider myWasp, to provide Trend Micro customers with a firewall technology for their mobile devices. The companies cite a report from Dataquest, which found the PDA market doubled in 2000 to 10m units. By 2004, the analyst house predicts that the market will triple again. MyWasp will offer its customers the use of Trend's Interscan VirusWall scanning application. In a prepared statement, Trend claimed it was the first anti virus vendor to work with a wireless ASP in this way, so that it is able to provide customers with malicious code protection.
