Worm alert: Arise SirCam

Errant intruder that teaches you not to save personal documents on your work PC...

NEWS Virus experts have identified a worm which randomly picks files from the 'My Documents' directory in Windows and emails them to the entire address book. Dubbed 'SirCam', the worm has the potential to considerably embarrass senders and recipients, as well present all the usual problems for mail servers. The contents of a 'My Documents' folder could be anything from your CV, client details or other personal information. The file arrives in the recipients mailbox under the name of the randomly picked file, making the worm very hard to detect.
