Entrust seals deal with Bank of China

Bank to pilot 15,000 digital IDs from PKI specialist...

NEWS PKI specialist Entrust has signed a deal with the People's Bank of China to deliver digital signatures. The bank will integrate Entrust's digital certificates and user IDs to secure online transactions for more than 100,000 corporate customers and stock traders. The bank is currently piloting about 15,000 digital IDs from Entrust at 13 branches around China. Entrust's technology is based on digital IDs, verification, privacy and security management.
