NEWS Security giant Network Associates (NAI) has released the source code for its PGP cryptographic toolkit products. The toolkit - which builds PGP desktop, wireless and server based applications - will give academic researchers and cryptographers the ability to review the PGPsdk's cryptographic capabilities in detail. The US government recently relaxed export regulations on cryptographic source code, which has made the distribution of the PGP source code possible for the first time, according to NAI.
