NEWS A former hacker who made his fortune as an internet security consultant is offering a $10m reward for information leading to the arrest of Osama Bin Laden, the primary suspect in last Tuesday's terrorist attacks. Karl Schmitz, who now works as a venture capitalist, recently footed a $50m rescue package for bankrupt e-tailer Letsbuyit.com. Schmitz, who hacked under the pseudonym 'Kimble', spent two months in jail in 1998 after he was convicted of breaking into the websites of Citibank, Nasa and the Pentagon websites. The US government put a $5m bounty on Bin Laden after he was linked with the 1998 bombing of US embassies in Africa. Details of Schmitz's offer are at http://www.kimble.org
