BT bitten by Nimda

Two telco exchanges infected...

NEWS BT broadband users may have been cut off yesterday as the Nimda virus struck two of the telco's exchanges. Major problems hit the service after exchange equipment was attacked by Nimda, according to a recorded phone message on the company help line that stated "due to the recent outbreak of the Nimda virus". Exchanges affected were Whitefield and London Lodge Hill according to ZDNet.
