US attack forces security conference to change tack

Agenda is ripped up after warnings of cyber crime...

NEWS A top level European security conference has changed its agenda following the terrorist attacks on America last week. The three day ISSE (Information Security Solutions Europe) conference scheduled to open next Wednesday (26th September) in London, will now include important issues directly related to the FBI's warning for companies to be alert and prepared to defend against cyber attack. Earlier this week, a Gartner report said US military reprisals for last week's terrorists attack will put the country's key government, financial and political internet sites at risk of cyber attacks. The analyst house advised businesses to find additional ways to communicate and generate revenue in the event of denial-of-service (DoS) disruptions, and to double-check security on vulnerable internet systems.
